Establishment of the company
Chi Lin Technology was founded in 1964, and is one of many subsidiary compan ies of the Chi-Mei Group. Product Portfolio originally started from PE Film related products and was then expanded to include Plastic Color Compounding and Composite materials. Chi Lin has been playing an important role in the 'plastic processed material' field, here in Taiwan for more than 40 years.

Integration Strategy
Since the year 2000, and to keep pace with Chi Mei Group's continued and extended development in the Optoelectronics field, Chi Lin has itself begun a new and exciting transformation. The Business Unit has been expanded from "Color Compounding" "Precision Fabrication", "LCD Backlight Module" to now include "Electronics". In early 2007, "LCD Module" and "Projection Image" were also established to complete Chi Lin's strategy and show Chi Lin's dedication in "FPD Material" vertical integration and component supply chain management.

Future Prospects
Now that Chi Lin has build a solid foundation for becoming a "Vertically Integrated Manufacturer" of LCD Flat Panel Display, and with the future in sight, we will provide a complete systematic service, in full partnership with our customers . W ith substantial professional technology , we will continue to pursu e innovative technology improvements, fulfilling our promise to provide " custom-made capabilities, and a one-stop shopping total solution and service, to our customers."
