Short-term anti-static PS sheet: Composed of anti-static materials mixed with PS materials, its anti-static effect can last from six months to one year. Features of long-term anti-static sheet: 1.Anti-static effect can last up to ten years (it refers to the finished product. After vacuum or heat forming, PS/ABS sheet becomes conductive or anti-static trays or carrier tapes, used to package and protect electronic components from damage during manufacturing or transportation.
High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) is modified to have conductive and anti-static properties, then pressed into large jumbo rolls. Customers can form them into different types of electronic component carrier trays to protect electronic components from static electricity during storage and transportation. This material complies with international regulations such as RoHS.
Our carrier tapes are made of ABS resin (an acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene copolymer) and high impact polystyrene (HIPS) modified to have conductive and antistatic properties, which are pressed into jumbo rolls and then divided into slit sheets. We produce carriers in different configurations based on clients’ needs to protect the related electronic component products from static electricity and the resulting damages while in storage or transit. This material is compliant with the RoHS and other international standards.
